DanceBreak in 5
If you're new to dance we recommend taking one of our DanceBreak in 5 tutorials.
A 5 minute dance class for students to learn a step/sequence, giving them a creative experience to support their engagement in education. Check out our FREE Box Step Taster!
Beginners Boogie
We recommend these to get your grooving journey moving! Between 10-15 minutes in length the class includes a warm- up followed by beginner level choreography. If you struggle putting steps together this is a great way to help work your muscle memory before you join our main flavour classes.
Full Length Flavour
Now you’re ready for our full length Dance classes which include a warm up, step in 5, choreography and 2 minutes free movement! THE WARM UP will gradually get the heart rate up using basic dance steps and stretches to increase flexibility/mobility, in preparation for our bodies to groove. STEP IN 5 involves learning one dance sequence in 5 minutes from any genre of dance. This provides the student with knowledge on how to execute a popular step or drill. CHOREOGRAPHY will involve a sequence of steps in the style of the class. Students will work on new movements, piecing the sequence together and developing performance throughout. We always like to feel like we’re dancing to the worlds biggest audiences at Electric-8! 2 MINUTES FREE MOVEMENT will explore the student's own expression. This is the time for individuals to freely dance for themselves and discover their own way of moving. For the first part, I encourage students to move to music whilst their eyes are closed, to allow time to not feel the pressure of people looking at them. Once they feel comfortable, the pupils are encouraged to open their eyes to allow more freedom of movement. The classes will be aimed at all levels of dance ability, you can see a taster of the classes and age rating to check you feel comfortable with the ability level being taught. If you find students are struggling at first we advise breaking the classes down into smaller sequences. Before you know it they’ll be vibing the whole way through!

About Us
Electric-8 is an online learning platform for students to have the opportunity to learn and express themselves through the medium of dance. Students will gain knowledge in current popular routines from different genres of dance that they can currently see on their favourite shows, popular music videos and favourite musical movies.
Why Dance?
It is well established that dance supports child development by improving physical and emotional wellbeing, enhancing cognitive development and interaction with others.
These factors support a student to grow, learn life skills and develop in a way that makes them adaptable to many environments that they will experience through life. I have frequently witnessed these factors develop in young children at an optimal time in their growth, which to date have been limited to dance schools attended by a minority group. I have become convinced that this opportunity should be available for every child, whatever their circumstances and to this end I have developed ELECTRIC-8.

About Me
I began my journey in entertainment at 15, honing skills like dance across many genres. Though I wished I'd started earlier, this newfound approach transformed my thinking, confidence, and health. This opportunity altered my life, gifting me dreams-turned-reality.
As a performer and teacher, I've circled the globe, performing on remarkable stages and collaborating with stellar artists. Notable highlights involve key roles in international tours of Hairspray and Saturday Night Fever, alongside appearances in corporate events, music videos, and TV shows with acts like the Pussycat Dolls (Celebrity X Factor).
My teaching spans ages and locations, from London to the wider UK, encompassing early years to adults across workshops and esteemed performing arts institutions. I’ve also completed the Princes Trust Business & Enterprise course and still work closely with the team there.
